A Melodrama friend, Don, requested cupcakes for his birthday. His order was chocolaty with a little something extra. So, using my new cupcake corer and some quick made ganache...voila! I made a basic rich chocolate cupcake, let them cool, cored the centers out, filled with ganache then used the leftover ganache and stirred it into my basic vanilla buttercream. Yum!
