Chris' sister (Stacye) and brother and law (Don) just moved back to California with their 3 kids (Hannah 6, Elizabeth 3, and Noah 1) to start Don's 1 year vicerage (like an internship) at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Turlock. Before Don starts his new job we all took a relaxing trip to the mountains for a little family vacation. We all met up at Grant's Grove in Kings Canyon and set up camp. We had some great food and great time hiking with the kids and seeing the 3rd largest tree by volume, General Grant. The only complaint I have: we had a hole in our airmattress!!! Besides that I feel I did a good job roughin' it (which I am not one to usually do) and am definatly looking foward to the next time we can all get together and do it again!
